holy shit do you guys remember the post limit?? I completely forgot it existed and I remember people getting so bummed about reaching their reblog limit or something? I’m just…trying to picture anybody using this website enough nowadays to the point where “the post limit” would be something we talk about. I’m not even sure if it’s still a thing.
Also, nightbloggers. You all remember nightbloggers, but it was just people like slimetony and then the sand-vendor-universe making posts that were funny adjacent…Like we (younger audience like myself) never knew how shit we actually had it on here with the quality of humor. I want to know what would happen if you took an average user from say 2012 and dropped them into modern Tumblr. Modern INTERNET altogether. Can we find someone who was super into internet culture but then sealed themselves in a bunker since the early 2010s? If I hit a millennial on the head hard enough do you think theres a chance they’ll revert back to that form?
another thing I’d like to address is that it is literally so embarrassing that the people who used this website (who are now millennials) back then just….talked and posted like that…..at least I was young and had literally no opinions like I was watching Minecraft YouTubers and they were reading Wattpad and were done with puberty :///
